About The Silent Way
The Silent Way is an approach to teaching world languages that maximizes opportunities for students to think and speak in the 'new' language by minimizing how much the teacher speaks. Some of the tools include color-coded word charts that allow students to see how words are pronounced without the sound being modeled, and colored rods that can be used to build situations for discussion.
